55% Al-Zn steel coil

GL steel coil is cold rolled steel continuously hot-dip coated with about 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc and 1.5% silicon. The coating combines galvalume corrosion resistance, GL heat resistance, weather life and surface reflection.

Nicedeer is a GL OEM manufacturer for galvalume for roofing, GL roofing system and GL for skylight roof. Typical supply is AZ50–AZ150 galvalume coil and 0.2–1.2mm Al-Zn coil to the ASTM A792 standard, including SGLCC galvalume coil. Ask for galvalume export price and GL seaworthy packing.

55% aluminum

Aluminum forms a dense oxide film that slows outside attack and supports galvalume lifespan.

43.5% zinc

Zinc in the network protects cut edges by sacrificial action, the same job GI does on a bare edge.

1.5% silicon

Silicon limits a brittle iron-aluminum layer so the coating still bends and draws.

720,000-ton hot-dip Al-Zn-Si project

Nicedeer is adding hot-dip galvalume capacity beside a 1.2 million-ton high-strength steel project. The chain runs from cold rolled substrate through hot dip Al-Zn steel coil to further coating. Air-knife control and online coating checks support AZ coating weight test results.

Once in production, the galvalume lines will feature automated air-knife control, online metallographic coating gauges and full-automatic corrective systems, keeping coating thickness uniform and surface quality stable for construction, appliance and solar applications.
