Cold rolled steel is pickled, cold reduced and annealed from hot rolled coil. Compared with hot band, it has a cleaner surface, tighter gauge, stable shape and better forming. It is the base for auto, appliance and machinery parts, and the feedstock behind CR full hard galvanized coil and PPGI substrate.
Nicedeer supplies several gauges and forming grades to match the next process, whether that is stamping or coating.
Bright or matte finishes for parts that will be seen or painted.
Thickness, width and shape are held for automated lines.
Commercial, drawing and structural grades for stamp, bend and shear.
Annealing and shape control keep the sheet stable in the press.
Thickness, width and grade follow the customer’s tool and end use.
Mechanical tests and dimensional checks from coil to packed sheet.
